Co-Care

Birth Trauma Consulting

  1. Prenatal Education and Support: This includes regular prenatal appointments where you can discuss your pregnancy, ask questions, and receive education on topics like nutrition, supplements, exercise, and childbirth preparation. The midwife provides personalized care and guidance tailored to your individual needs and preferences.

  2. Birth Plan and Hospital Protocols: Together with your midwife, you create a birth plan that outlines your preferences for labor and delivery, taking into account hospital protocols and your rights as a patient. This ensures that you have a clear understanding of what to expect during the birthing process and that your preferences are respected as much as possible within the hospital setting.

  3. Support During Birth: You will have continuous support during labor and delivery via text if I am not currently at a birth. Thru emotional support, comfort measures, and advocacy to ensure that your birth experience aligns with your desires.

After giving birth, you have access to virtual support for lactation issues, postpartum concerns, and newborn care. This may include text-based communication, virtual consultations, and resources to help you navigate the challenges of early parenthood.
