Meet Joey
Midwife Joey Larson, CPM, LM, CLC
I have always wanted to be in the world of birth. My amazing mother has been teaching me about birth ever since I can remember. My calling to midwifery is more than a profession it is a ministry of service, compassion, and faith.
As a follower of Christ, I believe that every life is a miracle, knit together by the hands of our Creator. I see each birth as holy ground, and it is my honor to stand in prayer, presence, and skillful support as babies are welcomed into the world. My role is to serve families with wisdom, love, and trust—honoring their choices and the design God has for their birth. I have worked with many couples and in my care, I strive to blend evidence-based practice with heartfelt compassion, offering personalized midwifery that nurtures both the body and the soul. Whether you’re seeking a homebirth, VBAC, Twins or Breech options or if you are wanting a simply a deeper connection to your birth experience, I am here to walk with you—praying over your journey, uplifting your strength, and celebrating the miracle of new life.
Who you may see
As part of our birth team, you may see a variety of dedicated professionals working together to support you and your growing family. This often includes your midwife, who will guide and monitor your care throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. You may also be supported by a student midwife or birth assistant, both trained to provide compassionate, skilled help during labor.
In all cultures, the midwife's place is on the threshold of life, where intense human emotions, fear, hope, longing, triumph, and incredible physical power-enable a new human being to emerge. Her vocation is unique."
