MIDWIFERY

Midwives offer personalized care that focuses on the physical, emotional, and social needs

of the mother and baby. They work in collaboration with other healthcare providers

to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby.

 

Your Care consist of the following:

  • 24/7 text support 

  • Regular prenatal care (1 visit per month up to 28 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks.

  • After 36 weeks, and until birth, visits are scheduled every week.

  • Each visit is up to 60 minutes, typically includes discussion of

  1. Normal pregnancy changes and discomforts

  2. Fetal development

  3. Clinical assessment of maternal and fetal well-being (vitals, urine dip, fetal heart rate, etc.)

  4. Informed choice for various prenatal screenings and discussion of birth plans, and starting at 20 weeks

  • One prenatal home visit at 36 weeks of pregnancy

  • 24-hour availability of a midwife throughout the pregnancy and postpartum period.

  • Experienced birth assistant to attend birth

  • Postpartum visits 1-2 days after birth as well as every week up to 6 weeks. If midwife or client feels that more visits are needed, it can be arranged.

  • Lactation Support.

Co- Care 
In Person or Virtual

Co-care is the perfect option for those who want it all! You will receive top-notch care, education, and informed decision-making from a midwife also experiencing your choice of a hospital birth. And the best part? Your midwife will provide postpartum care in the comfort of your own home.'s the ultimate birthing experience!
 

Your care includes:

  •  24/7 text support to your midwife

  • Monthly Checkups until birth 

  • Labs other than routine

  • Education and Birth Plan 

  • Birth Support via text or check-ins on video if desired

  • Postpartum & Lactation Support at Home weekly for 1-4 visits

    Birth Trauma Consultation

    Virtual or In-Person

    A birth trauma consultation is a service provided by healthcare professionals

    to support individuals who have experienced a traumatic birth.

    It involves discussing the individual's experience, providing emotional support, and exploring options for healing and recovery.

     

    These steps include:

    • Initial assessment of the mother's physical and emotional health

    • I will collect your medical records and will collect details about the birth event

    • Any issues or symptoms you may be experiencing

    • I will then colloborate with you to create coping mechanisms and examine potential treatment alternatives as well as referrals or resources in your area
