MIDWIFERY
Midwives offer personalized care that focuses on the physical, emotional, and social needs
of the mother and baby. They work in collaboration with other healthcare providers
to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby.
Your Care consist of the following:

24/7 text support

Regular prenatal care (1 visit per month up to 28 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 36 weeks.

After 36 weeks, and until birth, visits are scheduled every week.

Each visit is up to 60 minutes, typically includes discussion of

Normal pregnancy changes and discomforts

Fetal development

Clinical assessment of maternal and fetal well-being (vitals, urine dip, fetal heart rate, etc.)

Informed choice for various prenatal screenings and discussion of birth plans, and starting at 20 weeks

One prenatal home visit at 36 weeks of pregnancy

24-hour availability of a midwife throughout the pregnancy and postpartum period.

Experienced birth assistant to attend birth

Postpartum visits 1-2 days after birth as well as every week up to 6 weeks. If midwife or client feels that more visits are needed, it can be arranged.

I will then colloborate with you to create coping mechanisms and examine potential treatment alternatives as well as referrals or resources in your area
